After growing a successful family photography business, a new idea was planted when her own school aged kiddos brought home their school pictures. Sensing that there was room bring a refresh to the photography industry, Erica began the adventure of bringing artistic, honest, and heirloom images to the school photography world.
Eight years later, the Slow Road Photo team is a leading Picture Day studio for Minnesota’s private and independent schools. Believing that collaboration and community always win the day, Slow Road has become a hub for local creatives to collaborate, learn, grow, and serve the community.
As Slow Road Photo continues to scale and grow, Erica is committed to helping other entrepreneurs experience the same success. She speaks at photography conferences across the country, facilitates monthly Mastermind groups, leads workshops, and provides mentoring to creative founders across the country. Nothing brings her more joy than cheering people along as they move in the direction of their dreams.
